| Features and applications | Non-antimony type, yet its acid strength is comparable to that of HSbF6, and it exhibits high cationic polymerizability. It has excellent solubility in various solvents and monomers (including non-polar organic solvents). When mixed with bisphenol A glycidyl ether, polymerization starts at 100°C; when mixed with cycloaliphatic epoxy resin, polymerization starts at 70°C. |
| Recommended dosage of additive | Depending on the application and film thickness, the addition amount is about 0.5–1 wt% of the resin. |
| Recommended sensitizer | Anthracene-based sensitizers, such as dibutoxyanthracene (DBA), and thioxanthone-based sensitizers, such as isopropylthioxanthone (IPTX), are expected to produce significant sensitization. |
